Forest Bathing: A mindful walk in the woods!
MAGICAL WOODS WALKS for all ages, followed by festive hot cocoa & snacks. A perfect nature-based counter-point to the other, more exuberant Prelude activities.
The Franciscan Monastery is a peaceful place. Frederick Law Olmstead Brothers-designed trails meander along the Kennebunk River.
Walking will be on semi-paved or natural woodland trails. NO PETS ALLOWED. RESTROOMS Closed for the season, but there is one in the church/monastery that can be used.
Children under 5 are free. Parties of 4 receive a free copy of Jennifer’s Nautilus Gold-Winning children’s book, “The Inside of ME,” about the magic that happens on the inside when we go outside, feature 9 special places in Maine!
